We hired Sir Juke for my children’s joint birthday party and I’m so glad we did! The juke box was loaded up with my kid’s playlist from Spotify. The kids absolutely loved being able to choose their own songs and dancing the afternoon away. The lights were excellent and really made the party atmosphere. We were able to pause the tunes for pass the parcel and skip the odd one that my son had tried to put on multiple times! Adam was so helpful setting up the box, a real professional. This thing is epic. I went to a friends wedding and the first thing i noticed was the amazing sound coming from the jukebox. I instantly gravitated towards it and realised that it had been completely customised for the event. The light box with the happy couple’s name flashed different colours in time with the music and the fx lights completely filled the room. It was great that all the original buttons worked because it really maintained that original retro feel. Every song on there was an absolute banger. There was nothing on there that could be chosen which would kill the mood or clear the dance floor. A great night and mostly due to this machine! Would highly recommend for any event.

Saw the jukebox in action at the Hollowell steam rally this year within the beer tent. What a great bit of kit. Spoke to Adam (the owner) - really nice chap - who explained about the possible customisation for whatever event. Very user friendly and will definitely be hiring it in the near future.

Where in the UK are you based and where do you deliver?

We are based in the village of Pitsford, Northamptonshire. Delivery and collection is free within a 25 mile radius however there is an added transportation cost outside this area depending on travel time and distance.

What customisation options are within the service?

Both the light box graphic and music are customised to suit your event. We will work closely with you to create the ideal design for the light box. For the music, you can share a playlist from your preferred streaming service (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), or let us curate a personalised library based on your musical tastes.

Can the jukebox be used for an outdoor event such as a garden party?

For outdoor events the jukebox is set up within a 3 x 3m gazebo for cover. All necessary electrical extension cables will be supplied. If mains power is unavailable, we can provide a quiet generator for an additional cost. For evening events, we also offer outdoor festoon lighting to create the perfect atmosphere.

How loud is the Jukebox and do you provide additional sound equipment and lighting for larger events?

The jukebox is equipped with its own high-quality, original speakers, capable of filling a medium-sized room—such as a village hall—of up to approximately 300m² (15 x 20m). For larger spaces, we can provide an additional sound system. We also offer a range of extra lighting and special effects to enhance your event.

Why has the jukebox been converted from CD to digital?

The objective was to preserve the authenticity of the jukebox while ensuring its practicality and suitability for event rentals. However, keeping the jukebox entirely original to use for hire poses a few challenges.

Firstly, a vinyl or CD jukebox can take up to 45 seconds to select a track. This prolonged waiting time could significantly dampen the atmosphere on the dance floor and disrupt the overall experience. Additionally, these vintage jukeboxes are both cumbersome and highly sensitive. They were intended for fixed installations, and relocating them often leads to issues with their delicate internal mechanisms.

To address these concerns, our jukebox retains its retro charm with the original buttons on the front panel for song selection. The tracks are displayed on a screen as title cards and to ensure seamless performance, the jukebox’s software is powered by a compact and highly reliable microcomputer.
